Ashwini Srivatsan (Co-founder and Creative director, Tattva)
Ashwini
Srivatsan is an Indian classical dancer with over a decades worth of
training in Bharatanatyam from renowned teachers such as Nirmala
Madhava of Pampa fame and Sundari Santhanam an exponent of
Bharatanrityam. As founder of Mani Paduka Nrityashala in Las Cruces, NM
and teacher of a graduate level course in Bharatanatyam at the New
Mexico State University, Ashwini started her teaching career in dance.
She has also studied other dance forms such as Kathak, Jazz and Modern
dance. Ashwini brings to Tattva, more than a decade's worth of
rigorous training in dance, performance and choreography and more
importantly her passion for performing arts. She comes with a deep
understanding of ancient Indian arts combined with a solid grasp of the
aesthetics of western dance forms.
Shalini Haranahalli (Co-founder and Creative director, Tattva)
Shalini Haranahalli
is a recent graduate from University of Florida with a Master's in
International Business. Through her world travels she has mastered
numerous forms of performing arts. Her initial training started at age
7 in Bharatanatyam w/ Smt. Nirmala Madhava of PAMPA Academy, where she
was the schools first graduate. She also has had training in Kathak w/
Guru Prachi Dixit, Nupur Dance Academy. Apart from classical
training, Shalini has been trained in Brazilian karate
through Centroseul Capoeira for 4 years. You’ll also find her
participating in Break Dance Contests to incorporate the art in her
choreography. Additionally, a formal training in Gymnastics and a 3rd
degree black belt in Shotokan karate adds to her creative arsenal.
Shalini is an integral part of Tattva's creativity and diversity.
Her ability to play with many types of dance gives Tattva its unique
character to the World Wide Dance form. With her extensive education in
dance and choreography - she energizes Tattva into the most dynamic
dance experience.
Dr. Anurag Mairal (Board of Directors)
A serial entrepreneur, Dr. Mairal is the Founder and CEO of Gurome (previously TestPundit). Concurrently, he is an Associate Director at the Stanford India Biodesign at Stanford University and the Co-founder and Executive Vice President at Orbees Medical. Dr. Mairal serves on the boards of several for-profit and non-profit organizations including WinWivo, ViaBlaze, and SupportShare. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
Rahul Lakhani (Technology Advisor)
Rahul
Lakhani has worked at several leading companies such as
Broadcom, AMD, and Google in technology and sales roles. He currently
works on
growing Small Business enterprise sales at Google and also serves
as the Director of Technology, Director of Sales and Marketing, and
Country
Manager for Gurome India. Rahul closely follows the MBA blogosphere and
often
blogs about interesting events and developments in the MBA world. As a
part of
the Gurome board of directors committee, Rahul helps shape the
strategic
direction for the company. After completing his B.S. and M.S. degrees
in
Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta,
Georgia, Rahul spent a few years in Austin, Texas before moving to the
Silicon
Valley area in California. Other than a passion for entrepreneurship,
Rahul is
an avid fan of Formula One Car Racing and Soccer
